art & pix was established in December 2007 by Kai Nitsche and Annika Witte as a worldwide online marketplace for Royalty-Free stock images, allowing individuals and professionals to legally buy, share and sell stock images and illustrations.
Royalty-Free means that you pay for the image only once and then you can use it as many times as you like, with just a few restrictions. In other words, there are no license fees except the initial fee and no other royalties to be paid except those included in the initial cost.
art & pix offers a large image stock of free and affordable Royalty-Free photos, and illustrations perfect for any medium, web or print.
Photographers and designers constantly update art & pix with new photos and illustrations, while photographers and designers receive a 50% commission from each photo sold. This can even increase to 60% when a photographer sold more than 250 pictures!
